For moreinformation, refer to “Standard Limited Warranty” on page 91.Low Battery IndicatorWhen the battery is weak and only a few minutes of talk timeremain, a warning tone sounds and the “Battery Low” messagerepeats at regular intervals on the display. The backlight turns offto conserve the remaining battery power.When the battery level becomes too low, the phone automaticallyturns off.Powering On or Off the Phone1. Open the phone. Press and hold the key or thekey until the phone power-on screen displays.2. If the phone asks you to enter a password, enter apassword and press the OK soft key or the key. Formore information, refer to “Change Phone Password” onpage 50.3. If the phone asks for a PIN, enter the PIN and press the OKsoft key or the key. The Idle screen displays while thephone searches for your network. After the phone findsyour network and displays adequate signal strength bars,you can make or receive calls.Note: The display language is preset to Automatic at the factory. To changethe language, use the Language menu. For more information, see“Language” on page 48.4. When you wish to switch off the phone, press and hold thekey until the power-off image displays.Setting Up Your Voice Mail1. Open the phone to access your keypad. From the Idlescreen, press and hold the key.2. When connected, follow the voice prompts from the voicemail center.
