Call functions56Using the Dialling screenWhen you press , the Dialling screen opens. You canview the most recent calls you have dialled, received, andmissed on the screen.When you enter a digit, the Dialling screen lists all of thenumbers containing the entered digit in Contacts and CallHistory, as well as the phone number assigned to thecorresponding speed dial key.Making a callYou can make a phone call using the number keypad. Aswell as normal voice calls, you can make video conferencecalls in a 3G (UMTS) network.To make a voice call:1. On the Home screen, enter a number including an areacode.Note: If you press , , , , , , , or , thedevice will display the contact names containing thecorresponding alphabet.2. Press to make a call.When a call is connected, the call duration displays.During a call, you can use several call options. Fordetails, see page 60.To adjust the audio volume during a call, press orto increase or decrease the volume level.3. Press to end the call.
