Call Functions 19Section 3: Call FunctionsThis section describes the features and functionality associated with making andanswering a call.Making a CallWhen the idle screen displays, enter the number you wish to dial and press .Note: When you activate the Auto Redial option in the Auto Redial menu, the phone automaticallyredials up to 10 times when the person does not answer the call or is already on the phone,provided your call is not sent to voice mail.Making an International Call1. Press and hold . The + character displays.2. Enter the country code, area code, and phone number.3. Press to make the call.Ending a Call Briefly press when you want to end your call.Making a Call from the Contact ListYou can store frequently used phone numbers in the phone Contact List.Once you store a number in the Contact List, you can quickly dial the stored numberby pressing only a few keys. You can also assign Speed Dial numbers to your mostfrequently-used contacts.For further details about the Contact List, see “Using Your Contact List” on page 49.Adjusting the VolumeIn Idle mode, you can adjust the ring volume by pressing the Volume keys on the leftside of the phone. During a call, use the Volume keys to adjust the speaker volume.
