Call Functions26Making a Call from the PhonebookYou can store the phone numbers that you useregularly in the SIM card or the phone’s memory,which are collectively called Phonebook. Simplyselect the name you want to recall the associatednumber. For further details about the Phonebookfeatures, see page 33.Adjusting the VolumeDuring a call, if you want to adjust the earpiecevolume, use the and keys on the left side ofthe phone.Press the key to increase the volume level andthe key to decrease the level.In Idle Mode with the folder open, you can alsoadjust the keypad tone volume using the andkeys.Call Functions27Answering a CallWhen somebody calls you, the phone rings andshows the incoming call animation.If the caller can be identified, the caller’s phonenumber, or name if stored in your Phonebook,displays.1. If necessary, open the folder. Press the keyor the Accept soft key to answer the incomingcall.If the Anykey Answer option in the ExtraSettings menu (Menu 6.8) is checked, youcan press any key to answer a call except forthe key and the Reject soft key. Seepage 99.If the Active Folder option in the ExtraSettings menu (Menu 6.8) is checked, youcan answer the call simply by opening the folder(see page 99).Note: To reject an incoming call, press and holdthe volume keys on the left side of thephone before opening the folder.2.
