Call Functions26Making a Call from the PhonebookYou can store frequently phone numbers that youuse regularly in the SIM card or the phone’smemory, which are collectively called thePhonebook. Simply select the required name torecall the associated number. For further details onthe Phonebook features, refer to page 35.Adjusting the VolumeDuring a call, if you want to adjust the earpiecevolume, use the volume keys on the left side of thephone.Press the key to increase and the key todecrease the volume.In the idle mode with the folder open, you canadjust the key volume using these keys.Call Functions27Answering a CallWhen somebody calls you, the phone rings and thefollowing screen appears on each display.If the caller can be identified, the caller’s phonenumber or name, if stored in your Phonebook,displays.1. If necessary, open the folder. Press the keyor the Accept soft key to answer the incomingcall.If the Anykey Answer option in the ExtraSettings menu (Menu 5.8) is checked, youcan press any key to answer a call except forthe key and the Reject soft key (seepage 91).If the Active Folder option in the ExtraSettings menu (Menu 5.8) is checked, youcan answer the call simply by opening the folder(see page 91).Note: To reject an incoming call, press and holdthe volume keys on the left side of thephone before opening the folder.2.
