Changes madehere do not affect the actual subscriber numbers onyour SIM card.Language (Menu 5.4)Use this menu to select one of several languages forthe display text.Security (Menu 5.5)Use this menu to protect the phone againstunauthorised use with the several access codes ofyour phone and SIM card.PIN check (Menu 5.5.1)The 4-to 8-digit PIN (Personal Identify Number)protects your SIM card against unauthorised use.When this feature is enabled, the phone requires yourPIN each time it is switched on.Change PIN (Menu 5.5.2)Use this menu to change your PIN. The PIN Checkfeature must be enabled to use this feature.Phone lock (Menu 5.5.3)The Phone lock feature locks the phone fromunauthorised use.When this feature is enabled, you must enter a 4- to8-digit phone password each time the phone isswitched on.The password is preset to 00000000. To change thepassword, use the Change password menu.Change Password (Menu 5.5.4)Use this menu to change your phone password. Thepassword is preset to 00000000.If you enter an incorrect PIN /PIN 2 three times insuccession, the SIM card is blocked. To unblock ityou need to enter your PUK/PUK2 (PersonalUnblocking Key). The codes are supplied by yournetwork operator.
