Call Functions38Using the Ear-microphoneWith the ear-microphone, you can make or answera call without holding the phone.When you connect the ear-microphone to the jackat the left side of the phone, the button on theear-microphone works as listed below:To Pressredial the last call the button twice in Idle Mode.answer a call and hold the button whenyou receive the call.end a call and hold the button whenyou have finished the call.39Entering TextAt many times while you are using your phone, youneed to enter text, such as when storing a name inthe Phonebook, writing a new message, creatingyour personal greeting or scheduling events on yourcalendar.You are provided with the following text inputmodes:• Neopad Indian mode*This mode allows you to enter Indian (Hindi,Tamil, and Marathi) words with virtual keypadwhich gives the user option to select one of fiveletters assigned on keys easily and user-friendlyfeatures like built-in dictionary stored over13,000 each of Indian languages for every-dayuse.• T9 mode**This mode allows you to enter words with onlyone keystroke per letter. Each key on the keypadhas more than one letter – when you press the 5key once, J, K or L may be displayed.
