Section 6: Understanding Your Phonebook 53Storing a Number in the Phone’s MemorySection 6• Mobile: assigns the number entered to the Mobile entry.• Home: assigns the number entered to the Home entry.• Office: assigns the number entered to the Office entry.• Fax: assigns the number entered to the Fax entry.• Other: allows you to enter more detailed information for theentry.• E-mail: allows you to enter an e-mail address for the numberentered.5. Enter the number you want to store and press the Savesoft key or the key.6. Enter a name and press the OK soft key or the key.For further details about how to enter characters, see"Create" on page 69.After storing, the phone displays the Phonebook entryand name you just created.7. Tab through the options to assign the Phonebook entryGroup, Image, and Ringtone settings.8. To use the entry options, press the Options soft key. Thefollowing options are available:• Send message: allows you to send a message to the selectednumber.• Assign speed dial: allows you to assign a speed dial number tothe phone number you entered. For more information, see"Speed Dialing" on page 55.• Edit number: allows you to edit the number.• Edit Name: allows you to edit the name.• Delete entry: allows you to delete the name and number fromPhonebook.
