When you take a photoin conditions where there is a strong backlight behind a subject, the camera adjusts theexposure to shoot a subject correctly.• Centre-weighted: The camera calculates a broader area than the camera does in spotmode. It sums up the amount of light in the centre portion of the shot (60–80 %) and thatof the rest of the shot (20–40 %).Drive modeUse this option to set the shooting method. Continuous shots are recommended for shootingthe rapid motion of fast moving subjects, such as racing cars.In expert mode, tap → → Drive mode, and select an option.• Single shot: Use this to take a single photo.• Continuous shot: Use this to take a series of photos of moving subjects.• AE BKT: Use the auto exposure bracketing option to take three consecutive photos withdifferent exposure values (one a step lighter, the original, and one a step darker). Use atripod to prevent blurry photos.• Saving photos may take longer depending on the memory card’s capacity andperformance when taking photos continuously.• Using a tripod is recommended when taking photos continuously.
