Basics16Battery charging tips and precautions• When the battery power is low, the battery icon appears empty.• If the battery is completely discharged, the device cannot be turned on immediatelywhen the charger is connected. Allow a depleted battery to charge for a few minutesbefore turning on the device.• Using a power source other than the charger, such as a computer, may result in a slowercharging speed due to a lower electric current.• The device can be used while it is charging, but it may take longer to fully charge thebattery.• While charging, the Gear 360 and the charger may heat up. This is normal and should notaffect the Gear 360’s lifespan or performance. If the temperature rises above a certainlevel, battery charging will be stopped.• You cannot charge the Gear 360 while recording a video, using the time lapse feature, orusing the viewfinder remotely on the connected mobile device.• To save the battery power, activate the auto shut-off feature.• When you do not use the auto shut-off feature, the battery will be charged only when theGear 360 is turned off.• If the Gear 360 is not charging properly, take the Gear 360 and the charger to a SamsungService Centre.
