Section 2A: Your Phone: The Basics 21Phone BasicsCharging the BatteryYour phone’s Li-Ion battery is rechargeable and should becharged as soon as possible so you can begin using yourphone.Keeping track of your battery’s charge is important. If yourbattery level becomes too low, your phone automaticallyturns off and you will lose all the information you were justworking on. For a quick check of your phone’s battery level,glance at the battery charge indicator located in the upper-right corner of your phone’s display screen. If the batterycharge is getting too low, the battery icon ( ) blinks andthe phone sounds a warning tone.Always use a Trumpet Mobile-approved desktop charger,travel charger, or vehicle power adapter to charge yourbattery.Using the Travel ChargerTo use the travel charger provided with your phone: Plug the end of the AC adapter into the phone’s powerinterface connector and the other end into an electricaloutlet. A red indicator light on the phone lets you knowthe battery is charging. A green indicator light on the phone indicates thatthe battery is fully charged. An onscreen indicator lets you know that thebattery is charged.It takes about three hours to fully recharge a completelyrundown battery.Warning!
