Getting Started 9VoicemailAll unanswered calls to your phone are sent tovoicemail, even if your phone is turned off, soyou’ll want to set up your voicemail and personalgreeting as soon as you activate your phone.For more information, see “Voicemail” onpage 49.TTY ModeYour phone is TTY-compatible, allowing you toconnect a TTY device to the phone’s headsetjack. Before you can use your phone with a TTYdevice, you’ll need to enable TTY Mode.For more information about enabling TTY mode,see “Call Settings” on page 42.Task ManagerYour phone can run apps simultaneously, withsome apps running in the background. Use Taskmanager to see which apps are running on yourphone, and to end running apps to extendbattery life. You can also uninstall apps from yourphone and check memory usage.1. From any unlocked screen, touch and holdthe Home Key, then select Taskmanager.2. Touch the Active applications tab to viewapps running on your phone. Touch Exit, orExit all to close apps.3. Touch the Downloaded tab to viewinformation about apps you’ve installed onyour phone. Touch Uninstall to remove anapp from your phone.4. Touch the RAM tab to display the amountof RAM (Random Access Memory) in use.Touch Clear memory to clear processes toincrease available RAM.5. Touch the Storage tab for internal systemstorage and SD card memory statistics.6.
