Getting Started 14Making and Answering CallsMaking CallsPlacing a call from your phone is as easy as making a call from anyland-line phone. Just enter the number and press and you’re onyour way to clear calls.To make a call using your keypad:1. Make sure your phone is on.2. Enter a phone number. (If you make a mistake while dialing,press to erase one digit at a time. Press and holdto erase the entire number.)3. Press to call.4. Press or close the phone when you are finished.Tip: To redial your last outgoing call, press twice.You can also place calls from your phone by using Voice Command,Speed Dialing numbers from your Phone Book (page 22), and usingyour Call History listings (page 57).Answering CallsTo answer an incoming call:1. Make sure your phone is on. (If your phone is off, incomingcalls go to voicemail.)2. Press to answer an incoming call. (Depending on yourphone’s settings, you may also answer incoming calls byopening the phone or by pressing any number key. See “CallAnswer Mode” on page 37 for more information.)
