By playing the assigned ringer type. By the LED blinking red. By displaying at the top of your screen for voicemail messages,Sprint PCS Web Messages, or Sprint PCS Web Alerts.Message TypesThere are three types of messaging features available from yourSprint PCS Phone’s menu. You can receive voicemail, Sprint PCSWeb Messages (also known as page/text or SMS messages) andSprint PCS Web Alerts (also known as Browser messages) as long as yourphone has enough memory to store them. If the memory is full, you willbe prompted to delete old messages to make room. Voicemail automatically captures calls when you can’t answer yourphone or it is turned off. The voicemail system sends a notification toyour phone when you have new voice messages or numeric pages. Web Messages include Sprint PCS Wireless Web Messages,*Sprint PCS Wireless Web Updates* and alerts that notify you of newSprint PCS Wireless Web Mail SM*.
