6 7sIm CaRd and baTTERyYour Subscriber Identity Module (SIM) card identifies you to thewireless network. Your phone will not work without the SIM card.To insert the SIM and battery:1. Detach your SIM card bypushing from the back todetach.2. Remove the battery coverby sliding the cover down andaway from the phone.3. Slide the SIM card into theSIM card slot with the goldencontacts facing down and thenotched corner facing out.4. Align the golden contactson the battery with the contactsin the battery compartment.Snap the battery into place andreplace the battery cover.5. Plug the charger into thephone and into an electricaloutlet to charge. When chargingis complete, disconnect thecharger from the phone.To power on, press and holdthe red End key.
