29Using the camera buttons to set the cameraThe recording mode function can be set up by using the camera buttons.Used for turning the camera’s poweron / off. If there is no operation duringthe specified time, the camera's powerwill be turned off automatically to savebattery life. Refer to page 63 for moreinformation about the auto power offfunction.POWER buttonUsed for taking an image or recording voice in the Recording mode. In MOVIE CLIP modePressing the shutter button downfully starts the process for recordinga movie clip. Press the shutter buttononce and the movie clip is recordedfor as long as the available recordingtime in the memory allows. If you wishto stop recording, press the shutterbutton again. In Still image modePressing the shutter button down halfway activates the autofo-cus and checks the condition of the flash. Pressing the shutterbutton down fully takes and stores the image.
