When you see the screen thatdisplays the word ‘English’ it’s nowtime to remove the yellow plasticstrip from your remotecontrol which will automatically pairto your Horizon TV HD+ box. All you have to do now is press OK,then sit back and relax, allow the installation to complete andthen enjoy everything Horizon TV has to offer. This process cantake up to 15 minutes.Connecting your TV to your Horizon TV HD+ boxFinal TV set-up and pairing your remote controlStep 3Step 4a) To make the most of the HD channelsthat you have as standard from Horizon,connect your Horizon TV HD+ box toyour TV using the HDMI cable provided.c) Switch your Horizon TV HD+ boxon, this switch is located at theback of the box.d) Now you have connected your HorizonTV HD+box, it is time to turn on yourTV by pressing the power switch. Makesure that your TV is set to the correctsource i.e. HDMI or Scart.Your Horizon TV HD+ box will now attempt to connect to the UPCnetwork. During this time you may see a number of messages onyour TV displaying codes 1010 and 1030, don’t worry these arepart of the normal installation process. This may take up to 30minutes so please be patient and do not switch your Horizon TVHD+ box off at this stage as it will disrupt installation.b) If you do not have a HDMI connectionon your TV, you can connect through aScart lead (not included).If you do not see the ‘English’ screen appear on your TVafter 30 minutes, we recommend that you unplug yourHorizon TV HD+ box power source, leave it off for 15seconds and plug it back in. The installation process willnow restart.If you see an on-screen message advising of Code 1090at any stage during the process, we recommend that youunplug your Horizon TV HD+ box power source, leave itoff for 15 seconds and plug it back in.
