We have appliedbest efforts so that this product would satisfy your needs and itsquality would comply with the world’s best standards.Samsung Electronics Co., Ltd. sets forth subject tocompliance with the instructions for use for its products termof service life: home appliances – 7 years, TV sets, monitors,kitchen hoods, audio-, video-products – 5 years, GSM phones,modems, projectors – 3 years. Term of service life is measuredfrom the date of manufacture, unless User’s Manual sets forthother limits.After expiration of product service life Manufacturerrecommends to apply to a Samsung Authorized Service Center(ASC) to perform maintenance works and get advice on productsafe operation.You can get Samsung Authorized Service Center (ASC)addresses and telephone numbers from the Unified CustomerSupport Service or from www.samsung.com. Please refer toapplicable country (hereinafter Country) section to find UnifiedCustomer Support Service phone number.We strongly recommend addressing ASCs should you haveany problems with the operability and use of your device.All the products are specially designated by SamsungElectronics Co., Ltd. for supply to Country and have beendesigned with regard to the particular service environmenttypical of this country. To make sure, please check the deviceand its packing for the official compliance marks.In order to avoid misunderstanding we urge you to readcarefully the User’s Manual, terms of warranty, to checkwhether the warranty card is filled out correctly. Warranty card isvalid if following entries are made correctly and clearly: model,serial number of the device, date of sale, readable seals of theseller and the customer’s signature. Device model and serialnumber shall match those specified in the warranty card.Should these conditions be violated or should thewarranty card details be altered, erased or rewritten, thewarranty card is recognized void.Should this be the case, we recommend addressing yourretailer in order to have new warranty card issued in compliancewith the requirements above or providing sales receipts orslips confirming the fact and date of sale. If date of sale cannotbe established, as per the consumer protection laws of thecountry of purchase warranty term is measured from the date ofmanufacture.With this warranty card Samsung Electronics Co., Ltd.confirms acceptance of obligations to satisfy the customer’srequirements set forth by the effective consumer protectionlaws, should any defects be identified in the product due to theManufacturer’s fault. Samsung Electronics Co., Ltd. reservesthe right to reject claims by its customers and to deny freeservice should the terms below be violated. Warranty and freeservice obligations of the Manufacturer are executed accordingto the legislation of the Country, where warranty and/or freeservice provided.Samsung Electronics Co., Ltd. sets forth for itsproducts warranty period, measured from the date of sale,and period of free service, measured after warranty periodexpiry, enlisted in the table on pages 2-3. In this case, thewarranty period and the free service period are limited bythe product life.Terms of Warranty and Free Service:1. The Manufacturer’s warranty and free service obligationscover exclusively models designated by Samsung ElectronicsCo., Ltd. for export and sales within territory of the RussianFederation, purchased in Russian Federation and certified forcompliance with the state standards of Russian Federation.2. Free service is extra obligation by the Manufacturer toeliminate defects of product due to the Manufacturer’s faultfree of charge for the purchaser (consumer). Free service for airconditioners is provided if the air conditioners was installed by aSamsung authorized installation organization.3. Replacement of faulty parts (units, assemblies) of the productwithin the warranty or free service term results neither in newwarranty term being established, nor in new free service termfor the whole product or replaced parts. The Manufacturer iscontinuously improving usability of the product software andprovides opportunities for the software update by consumersfor a number of products, using programs/applicationsavailable to the user at the company´s official website, as wellas automatic software update subject to user’s consent. TheManufacturer is not responsible for saving of the productsoftware version installed at the time of purchase or modifiedduring the life without assistant on the part of the Manufacturer.The Manufacturer always recommends using a current versionof the product software.4. Warranty period for accessories, which belong to theproduct’s delivery package, is the same as for the main product,except the following:a) batteries, lamps for projectors, illumination lamps, except theproducts where the procedure of illumination lamps replacing isdescribed in user’s manual;b) connection cables (if they are not part of the charger),headphones, various data storage devices (disks with softwareand drivers, memory cards);c) cases, bags, belts, strings for carrying, installation devices,tools, documents accompanying the product;d) software and drivers supplied with the product on variousdata storage devices (including, but not limited to, softwarefactory installed on the product’s hard disks) as well as softwarere-installation and setup excluding situations when the need tore-install or setup results from the product’s defect due to theManufacturer’s fault.Additionally for:e) refrigerators: odour absorbers, air purifiersbiodesodorators), filters, shelves, boxes, fixtures and foodcontainers;f) ovens and microwave ovens : wire rack, spit wire rack, roastwire rack, baking tray, ceramic tray, convection tray, broilertray, water bowl, steamer, steamer tray, steamer plate, traycooking glass, roller guide; gas cook top: burner lid, flamespreader, grate;g) vacuum cleaners: hoses, pipes, brushes, heads, dustcollecting bags, filters;h) washing machines: filters, hoses for water supply;i) conditioners and hoods: filters;j) printers: in case of ending of the original toner (ink, photoprinter ribbon cartridge) in the cartridge (the cartridge ismonitored by weight, and (or) by indicators of installed chip).5. The Manufacturer has no warranty obligations and offers nofree service in the following cases:k) if the product designated for personal (household, family) usehas been used for business purposes as well as other purposesbeyond its intended use;l) if the provisions on operation and installation set forth in theUser’s Manual and other documents accompanying the producthave been violated;m) if the product has indications of attempted unauthorizedrepairs;n) if the defect is due to alteration of the product’s design orlayout, connection of external devices unauthorized by theManufacturer;o) if the defect is due to an event of force-majeure, accidents,intended or reckless acts by the consumer or third parties;warranty_4_lang_update_23_03_2016.indd 4 23.03.2016 15:05:15
