Getting started30Once the PIN lock is enabled, you must enter the PIN eachtime you turn on the device.If you enter an incorrect PIN too many times, your•SIM or USIM card will be blocked. You must entera PIN unlock key (PUK) to unblock the SIM or USIMcard.If you block your SIM or USIM card by entering•an incorrect PUK, bring the card to your serviceprovider to unblock it.› Activate the mobile trackerWhen someone inserts a new SIM or USIM card in yourdevice, the mobile tracker feature will automatically sendthe contact number to specified recipients to help youlocate and recover your device.To use this feature, you need a Samsung account forcontrolling the device from the web remotely.In Menu mode, select1 Settings → Security.The first time you access a menu that requires apassword, you will be prompted to create andconfirm a password.Once the device lock is enabled, you must enter thepassword each time you turn on the device.If you forget your password, bring your device to a•Samsung Service Centre to unlock it.Samsung is not responsible for any loss of•passwords or private information or otherdamages caused by illegal software.› Lock your SIM or USIM cardYou can lock your device by activating the PIN suppliedwith your SIM or USIM card.In Menu mode, select1 Settings → Security.Select2 PIN lock.Enter the PIN of your SIM or USIM card and select3 Done.
