67 ENG66WarrantyWarrantySamsung warrants this product as free ofdefects in material, design and workmanshipfor a period of twelve(12) months from theoriginal date of purchase.If during the period of warranty this productproves defective under normal use and service,you should return the product to the retailerfrom whom it was originally purchased. The lia-bility of Samsung and its appointed mainte-nance company is limited to the cost of repairand/or replacement of the unit under warranty.Return of the product for defective reasonsshould be to the original purchaser; however,Samsung Authorized Dealers and AuthorizedService Centers will comply with the warrantyon the terms issued to purchasers in the coun-try concerned. For further information relatingto the Authorized Service Centers contact;1-800-SAMSUNG (1-800-726-7864)www.samsung.comWARRANTY CONDITIONS:1.The warranty is only valid when the warrantycard is properly completed, and upon presentationof the proof of purchase consisting of originalinvoice or sales slip confirmation, indicating thedate of purchase, dealer’s name, model, serial No.and product number.Samsung reserves the right to refuse warranty ser-vice if this information has been removed orchanged after the original purchase of the productfrom the dealer.2.Samsung's obligations are to the repair of thedefective part, and at its discretion, replacement ofthe product (service exchange unit).3.Warranty repairs must be carried out by anAuthorized Samsung Dealer/Service Center. Noreimbursement will be made for repairs carried outby non Samsung Centers, and warranty coveragewill not be valid for any repairs or damage causedby such repairs.4.Repair or replacement under the terms of thiswarranty does not give right to extension to or anew starting of the period of warranty. Repair ordirect replacement under the terms of this warrantymay be fulfilled with functionally equivalent serviceexchange units.5. The warranty is not applicable in casesother than defects in material, design andworkmanship. The warranty does not coverthe following:Periodic checks, maintenance, repair andreplacement of parts due to normal wear andtear.Abuse or misuse, including but not solelylimited to the failure to use this product for itsnormal purposed or in accordance withSamsung's instructions usage and mainte-nance.Use of the product in conjunction withaccessories not approved by Samsung foruse with this product.Failure of the product arising from incorrectinstallationor use not consistent with technicalor safety standardsin current force, or failureto comply with productmanual instructions.Accidents, Acts of God or any causebeyond the control of Samsung caused bylightning, water, fire, public disturbances andimproper ventilation.Unauthorized modifications carried out forthe product to comply with local or nationaltechnical standards in countries for which theSamsung product was not originally designed.Repairs performed by non-authorized ser-vice centers such as opening of the product bya non-authorized person.The model, serial No. and product numberon the product has been altered, deleted,removed or made illegible.6. This warranty does not affect the con-sumer’s statutory rights nor the consumersrights against the dealer from theirpurchase/sales agreement.
