Youcan also rearrange the Home screens in a differentorder.1. From a Home screen, pinch the screen.– or –Touch and hold an empty space on the screen.2. Use these options to manage screens:• Add a screen: Scroll to the end of thescreens, and then tap Add.• Remove a screen: Touch and hold on ascreen, and then drag it to the Remove.• Set a screen as the main Home screen:Tap Main Home screen at the top of ascreen. This screen displays when you pressthe Home key.• Change the order of screens: Touch andhold on a screen, and then drag to a newposition.• Touch Home screen settings for options:- Transition effect: Change the visual effectused when you move between Homescreens.- Flipboard Briefing: Display all FlipboardBriefing updates on the Home screen.App ShortcutsYou can use app shortcuts to launch an app fromany Home screen.Add a Shortcut to a Home Screen1. From a Home screen, tap Apps.2. Touch and hold an app shortcut, drag it to aHome screen, and release it.Remove a Shortcut1. Touch and hold an app shortcut to release it.2. Drag the app shortcut to the Remove icon andrelease it.Note: Removing a shortcut does not delete the app, itjust removes the shortcut from the Home screen.WidgetsWidgets are self-contained apps that run on aHome screen. There are all kinds of widgets,including links to a specific contact, Internetbookmarks, Gmail and email accounts, andmany others.Add a Widget to a Home Screen1. Touch and hold an empty space on the screen,and then tap Widgets.2. Touch and hold a widget, drag it to aHome screen, and release it.Remove a Widget1. From a Home screen, touch and hold a widget torelease it.2. Drag the widget to the Remove icon andrelease it.Note: Removing a widget does not delete the widget,it just removes the widget from the Home screen.
