Understanding Your Contacts 38Section 5: Understanding Your ContactsThis section details how you can manage your daily contacts bystoring their names and numbers in your Contacts list. You canhave your Contacts entries sorted by name.Contact InformationUp to 500 entries can be stored in Contacts. Each entry can haveup to five associated phone numbers and one Email address.Each phone number can be up to 32 digits in length, including 2-second Pauses or Waits, and associated names can be up to 32characters in length. You can also assign a Speed Dial number ofyour choice for each entry.Tip: Speed Dial One-Touch Dialing and Two-Touch Dialing allow you to callnumbers stored in Contacts faster.Adding a ContactYou can use any of threemethods to add an entirelynew entry to the Contactslist.Menu Method1. From the Homescreen, press theStart soft key, then select Contacts. The Contacts screenappears in the display.2. Press the New softkey. The Contactscreen appears in thedisplay with fieldsunpopulated.3. Enter or select valuesfor each field in turn.• Highlight each field by pressing the Navigation key Up or Down.• Enter values using the keypad.• Select values by pressing the Navigation key Left or Right.• View a list of available values for a highlighted selection field bypressing .4. To save your settings, press the Done soft key.Call Save Method1. During a call, press the Menu soft key and select Save toContacts. The Select a Contact screen appears in thedisplay.
