5QuickTips Make sure all cableconnectors are fullyseated on jacks.See pages 11 and 12before connectingexternal audio/videoequipment. Cables are notsupplied for connect-ing your externalequipment. A solid Blue screenwith the word Video1or Video2 displayedmeans that the Videomode is selected, butno signal is beingdetected at theVideo jack. Checkconnection, andturn on externalequipment. Be sure batteries areinstalled correctly. Point the remotecontrol toward theequipment you wantto operate. Objectsbetween the remotecontrol and theequipment may causemisoperation of theremote controlfunction.REAR PANELINSTALLING BATTERIES (2 AA not included)1. Remove the battery cover by pressing the tab and tiltingthe cover upward. Insert batteries. Make sure you match/ signs on the batteries with marks inside theremote control.2. Replace battery cover. The remote control is ready!Notes:– Do not mix old batteries with new ones or mixdifferent types of batteries together.– Remove the batteries if the remote control will not beused for a month or more.
