CARE AND CLEANINGWHAT TO DO IF REPAIRS ARE NEEDED1. Get in contact with your nearest SANYO SERVICECENTER. It is dangerous for anyone other than aproperly qualified service engineer trained by SANYOto carry out adjustments or repairs.2. If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by aSANYO SERVICE CENTER, as a special preparedcord is required.3. On no account remove or interfere with any parts orscrews. “THIS COULD PROVE VERY DANGEROUS”.Make the following simple check before contacting aSANYO SERVICE CENTER.• If the interior lamp does not light when the oventimer is set:a. Make sure that the mains lead is securely pluggedin.b. Make sure that the door is properly closed.• If the lamp inside lights but the food is not heated:a. Make sure that the food is not completely coveredwith a metal container or aluminium foil.• Noisy operation:a. Make sure that sparks are not being produced dueto the use of metal utensils.b. Make absolutely sure that the contents of the ovenare not touching the oven roof.17Wipe any spills and splashes inside and outside the oven with a mild detergent solution, rinse, and wipe dry. Do notuse the alkaline detergent. Any food left in the oven could possibly cause arcing due to carbonisation.Never use abra-sive powders or pads.
