Designed for digital terrestrial reception of high definition, standarddefinition and other multimedia-based services, the demodulator is intended for indoor, outdoor, fixed,portable and automotive applications.The chip takes an analog or digital IF signal as input, converts to baseband and then performs thenecessary demodulation and FEC (forward error correction) decoding, and then provides an MPEG-2transport stream output in parallel or serial format.
