Com-pact discs can be played on only one side.Fingerprints and dust should be carefullywiped off the disc’s signal surface (oppositethe label side) with a soft cloth. Gently wipe ina straight motion from the inside to the out-side of the disc.Discs should be returned to their cases afteruse to avoid serious scratches which couldcause the player to skip.Do not expose a disc to direct sunlight, highhumidity, or high temperatures for extendedperiods of time to prevent warping the disc.Do not apply paper or write anything on eitherside of the disc. Sharp writing instruments, orthe inks used in some felt-tip pens, may dam-age the surfaces of the disc.Do not use cleaners or antistatic sprays ondiscs, such as those used for phonographrecordsIMPORTANT NOTEIf an abnormal display indication, or an operat-ing problem occurs, disconnect the mainslead. Remove the D batteries. Wait at least 5seconds, then reconnect the mains lead. Rein-stall the D batteries.-5-
