TRACK NOc1/:/ /:/ o CD PLAY/ / c) REPEAT.-0 MEMORYThe TRACK NO. display will show the totalnumber of tracks on the disc as shown be-low.ENOTES:- If a disc is loaded upside down, or if nodisc is loaded, the CD player will not op-erate.- Opening the CD compartment lid while aCD is playing could scratch the disc. Al-ways press the STOPICLEAR button andwait for the disc to stop rotating beforeopening the CD compartment lid.Compact discsBoth 8cm and 12cm discs can be played inthis unit.NOTE: Place only one disc at a time in the CDcompartment.Only discs bearing the logo as shown can beplayed in this unit.~iwiDIGITAL AUDIOAlways place the compact disc in the CDcompartment with the label facing up. Com-pact discs can be played on only one side.Fingerprints and dust should be carefullywiped off the disc’s signal surface (oppositethe label side) with a soft cloth. Gently wipe ina straight motion from the inside to the out-side of the disc.Discs should be returned to their cases afteruse to avoid serious scratches which couldcause the player to skip.Do not expose a disc to direct sunlight, highhumidity, or high temperatures for extendedperiods of time to prevent warping the disc.Do not apply paper or write anything on eitherside of the disc. Sharp writing instruments, orthe inks used in some felt-tip pens, may dam-age the surfaces of the disc.Do not use cleaners or antistatic sprays ondiscs, such as those used for phonographrecordsIMPORTANT NOTEIf an abnormal display indication, or an operat-ing problem occurs, disconnect the mainslead. Remove the D batteries. Wait at least 5seconds, then reconnect the mains lead. Rein-stall the D batteries.-5-
