Press the REC button. The PLAY buttonis engaged simultaneously and recordingstarts.5. Press the STOP/EJECT button to stoprecording at any time. When the end of thetape is reached, deck stop automatically andthe playback of CD enters stop mode.Recording from the radio or other sources1. Load a blank cassette.2. Tune in the radio station to be recorded or playother sources.3. Press the REC button to start recording.4. Press the STOP/EJECT button to stoprecording.When beat is heardBeat (a high-pitched noise) may sometimes beheard during the recording of radio broadcasts.If this occurs, set the BEAT CANCEL switch (theback of the unit) to 1 or 2 position that reducesthe level of the beat noise.Safeguards against accidental erasureTo protect side A, break out tab (1).
