52Direct onWhen this function is set to On, the projector will be automaticallyturned on just by connecting the AC power cord to a wall outlet.Note:Be sure to turn off the projector properly (see “Turning Offthe Projector” on page 20). If the projector is turned off inthe incorrect sequence, the Direct on function does not workproperly.SettingThis function allows you to change the presentation of the P-timerand execute it.Select one of the following options:Count up ............. The P-timer display 000:00 appears on thescreen and the count starts (000:00-180:00)Count down......... The time set in the Timer setting appears on thescreen and the countdown starts.Timer.................... Use the Point ▲▼ buttons to set the Timer(1-180 Min). Only set to Count down, Timer isactive. Factory default value is 10 Min.Start ..................... It executes the count up or count downfunction. Press the SELECT button at Startand the indication changes into Stop. To stopCount up or Count down, press the SELECTbutton at Stop on the screen menu, then theindication changes into Restart.Reset ...................
