-33- When the white or gray picture projected is uneven in color, orafter the LCD panel is replaced, correct the unevenness of color asfollows.(The Correction data is memorized in the IC808 of the Ass'y Main .If the IC808 is replaced from the Ass'y Main to the new one whenreplacing the Ass'y, color correction is unnecessary.) BEFORE OPERATION1. Set both the Ceiling and the Rear function of the SETTINGmenu on the ON-SCREEN menu to "Off."2. When replacing 2 LCD panels or more, the Correction dataneeds to be initialized.Set the Data No. to "0C1" and Data value to "0009" in Servicemode by pressing VOLUME (+) button on the projector. Andthen, press VOLUME (+) button again to initialize theCorrection data. (The each value of the correction data turnsinto "32.")CAUTION : Don't press VOLUME (-) button when the DataNo. is "0C1." CONDITION FOR CORRECTIONInput mode AV or ComputerInput signal unnecessaryPicture condition Normal1. Turn the projector into Service mode, and set the Data No. to"0C0."2. Press the VOLUME (+) or (-) button on the projector, and thepattern for correction of uneven color is displayed as follows.3. Press the POINT UP / DOWN / LEFT / RIGHT buttons on theprojector to move the WINDOW where to correct.4. Adjust the White-Balance in the window on the screen with thefollowing control buttons.Press the SELECT button on the projector to move the arrowwhere( Red, Green or Blue ) to correctPress the VOLUME (+) (-) buttons on the projector to adjust theWhite Balance.5. Press the MENU button on the projector to turn back to theData No. 0C0 display in the Service mode.16.
