Capture Settings 25The Capture MenuEnglishAEBWhen using the Auto Exposure Bracketing(AEB) function, the camera automatically takes 3consecutive photos with different exposures bypressing the Shutter button once. For example,when the current EV compensation value is +0.3EV and the AEB bracket interval value is set to 0.3,the camera takes shots of the same scene withthree varying levels of exposure: 0 EV, +0.3 EV,and 0.7 EV. This function is only available in Autoand P-Mode modes. To set the AEB mode:1. Press the MENU button to display menu options.2. Press the Left/Right navigation buttons to select AEB setting and press theOK button.3. Press the Up/Down navigation buttons to select from the available options:AEB: Select to enable or disable the AEB function.Bracket: Select to set the bracket interval value ranging from 0.3 to 0.0 EV in0.3 or 0.4 EV increments.Exit: Select to apply new settings to the camera and return to the setupmenu.M-Burst IntervalThe M-Burst Interval setting allows you to adjustthe burst interval when the multi-burst function isenabled.Use the Up/Down navigation buttons toselect from the options.• 1/30 Sec (default)• 1/15 Sec• 1/7.5 SecWhite BalanceThe White Balance setting allows you to adjustthe camera setting according to the ambient whitelight when shooting. White balance represents thedegree of coolness of the light. If the light has ayellowish or reddish tinge, it is said to be warm; if ithas a bluish tinge, it is said to be cool. You canselect the setting and preview it on screen beforeconfirming your choice. Use the Up/Downnavigation buttons to select from the options. 5white balance settings are available:• Auto (default)• Sunny• Tungsten• Fluorescent• CloudyNote:1. When taking AEB shots, hold the camera steadily. For the best result, use the tripod.2.
