The higher the image quality,the less the image compression ratio but morememory space is required. Use the Up/Downnavigation buttons to select from the options.Three settings for image quality are available:• Best (default)• Better• GoodFocus ZoneThe Focus Zone setting allows you to select thenumber of zones the camera will focus on whentaking a photo. Use the Up/Down navigation but-tons to select from the options. Three settings forfocus zone are available:• Multi-Zone (default)• Center• Selected Area: The new setting is applied to theLive View image each time the Up/Down nav-igation buttons are pressed. Press the button to return to the Capturemenu and save the current setting, which will take effect until it is changedagain.EV CompensationThe EV Compensation menu allows you to adjustthe exposure or amount of light that enters thelens while capturing photos or videos. Use this fea-ture to lighten or darken the image when thebrightness between the subject and background isnot balanced or when the subject occupies only asmall part of the photograph. Use a positive (+) EVcompensation for spotlit subjects, especiallyagainst dark backgrounds or scenes with lowreflectivity, such as green or dark foliage.Use the Up/Down navigation buttons to modify the value.
