38 Camera SettingsThe Setup MenuEnglishVideo OutThe Video Out setting allows you to adjust thevideo output, depending on the type of your TV.Use the Up/Down navigation buttons to selectfrom the menu options. Two options are available:• NTSC (default)• PALUSB ModeThe USB Mode setting allows you to select thetransfer method between your camera and yourPC. Two options are available:• PTP (PictBridge Print): When the camera isconnected to a printer by a USB cable whichsupports Pictbridge, it can directly print imagesstored on the media. For details on PTP func-tion, please See “PictBridge Print (PTP)” onpage 41.• MSDC (default): The camera is set up to act as a mass storage device,allowing only for transfer of files between your camera and PC.Date StampThe Date Stamp setting allows you to adjust theformat in which the date will appear on each photoor video. You can also deactivate this function ifyou wish. Setting a date stamp allows for easy sort-ing and the date will appear on the photo whenprinted. Use the Up/Down navigation buttons toselect from the menu options.
