2Digital Scale Instruction ManualRead this Instruction Manual carefully and keep it for future reference.◆Battery placement◆Hook Hanger◆Inserting photographs or patterns etc.This scale can be hung on a hook for convenience.When not using thehook hanger, press itinto the scale until itclicks for storage.Unlock the lock.Insert 2דAAA” “R03” or “24F”batteries as indicated.Push ON/TARE.Remove the clearcover.Place the photographor pattern on the trayin line with the guides(points).Place a bowl onthe tray.Align the clear coverwith the bottom of thetray, and gently placethe clear cover backon the tray.Push ON/TARE tosubtract the weight ofthe bowl.Lock the lock.Place the material tobe weighed.After removing the bowl, the display will show anegative reading or “----”. Press the ON/TARE buttonto return the display to “0”. Push OFF to turn off.Do not hang the scale in a location where it can swing, drop easily, or in anotherwise unstable place. Doing so may damage the scale or cause injury due tothe scale colliding with another object or dropping from the hook. Also, do notuse a suction pad hook, double-sided tape hook, or weak magnet hook. Suchhooks may not be able to support the weight of the scale, causing it to fall. Make sure you place item(s) inthe center of the tray.◆Mode change◆Automatic power off◆Battery replacementPush ON/TARE. When a mode change is required, press ON/TARE and OFF buttons simultaneously, and thenselect the proper mode. (for the g/oz version)The scale is designed with an auto power-off function for energy efficiency. If the same reading is displayed formore than 10 minutes the scale will automatically turn off.If “Lo” appears in the display when attempting to weigh, replace the battery. (following previous instructions)Double-sided tape can be used to hold thephotograph or pattern in place.To cover the entire surface of the tray with aphotograph or pattern, cut the photograph orpattern to the same size as the paper that wasincluded with the scale.
