Targus Desktop USB 2.0 7-Port Hub with Audio Pass-Throughrespond slowly while a graphic print job is printing orwhile you are experiencing heavy network traffic.We recommend the following guidelines:• Do not transfer data to or from multiple high-speeddevices, such as a digital camera or scanner, at thesame time.• If speed degradation does occur, close other programsthat use a USB device to improve device performance.TroubleshootingDevice Not Working• Make sure that the device is fully inserted into thecorrect port on the hub.• Plug the device into a different port. If it still doesn’twork, test the device by connecting it directly to yourcomputer.• Verify that you ran the Setup or Install program for thedevice.• Make sure that the device appears in Device Manager.For more information refer to “Verifying Devices areInstalled” .• Disconnect all devices from the hub and reconnectthem, one at a time. Check that each device worksbefore plugging in the next one.• Each USB port is equipped with over-currentprotection. Should a USB device draw more currentthan the USB port can supply, the port will shut down.Please note that the two Targus Always On USB portscannot charge iPod when the laptop is powered down ordisconnected from the USB 2.0 7-port hub.12
