One of the most uniqueexpansion cards is the IF-FW/DM,which provides multichannel audioI/O to a computer over a single FireWireparametric EQ, dynamics and access tothe 16 busses and 8 aux sends. You getall of these features at 96kHz resolu-tion too –you don’t lose any inputs orprocessing at high resolution.The mixer surface is easy to oper-ate, with dedicated buttons for mostcommonly-used features, 17 great-feel-ing 100mm motorized faders and 16encoders with LED displays. The DM-3200 includes Mackie Control™ andHUI™ emulation for controlling DAWrecording and playback, presented on adedicated fader layer. All of the settingsin the board can be stored or recalledwith a single button press and evenbacked up to a Compact Flash card.connection with no need to buy acomputer interface. Another expan-sion card adds powerful surroundmonitoring – including downmixingand bass management – for 5.1 and 6.1environments.Two built-in effects processors caneach run the TC Works™ Reverb pro-cessor.
