It uses standardCompact Flash memory cards to record in mono orstereo, 16- or 24-bit, at samples rates from 44.1kHzto 192kHz. An advanced clocking system is included,with the ability to chase external timecode and lock toan outside word clock or video reference signal. TheHD-P2 supports digital and analog audio inputs andoutputs, and has a built-in microphone and speaker.The HD-P2 records audio as standard Broadcast WaveFiles non-destructively. This means you can recorda file, rewind, and record another file at the samelocation without fear of losing the first recording. Abuilt-in, dynamic Edit Decision List orders file play-back based on file record times.
