To make addi-tional projects, or switch between projects, use theChange/New Project menu from the Main menu.In Figure 18 the menu shows the currently loadedproject (Project 09) and any other projects on thisCompact Flash card. If you select a non-loaded proj-ect, like Project 02, the sub-menu provides the choicesof Loading the project or Deleting. Deleting a projectpermanently removes all audio files and settings andcannot be undone. Figure 18 - Change or New Project ScreenIf you select Create New Project you are promptedto choose a Project Template as in Figure 19. TheDefault Template is based on the Default ProjectSettings in the System Menu. There may also be a listof templates that you have saved from other projects,like the file Proj0900 shown in Figure 19.Figure 19 - Choose Template for New Project ScreenSystem MenusSystem SettingsFigure 20 - System Menu Settings ScreenThe System Menu can be accessed at all times, withor without a Compact Flash card inserted. It controlsoverall settings, information, and tools related to theHD-P2 system as a whole.Set System Time – Set the HD-P2’s internal real-timeclock with date and time.Audible Alerts – When the HD-P2 detects low poweror low disk space it will pop up warnings on thescreen. If this choice is set to On it will also sendbeep tones to the audio output. These are not re-corded.Power Management – Shows the current voltage levelsof AC, FireWire, and Battery power sources.Audio Clock Information – Displays the measured typesand values of the Word Clock, LTC, S/PDIF, and Internalclocks. Also shows alerts and provides a resetmechanismMedia Management – All media-related tools and in-formation screens (i.e. Get Info, Clean-up, Scan, Eraseand Format).Software Update – Used to check the current softwareversion and to install software updates.Default Project Settings – Settings used by default whena new project is created.Project Templates – List of saved project templatesalong with menus to delete, or rename them.Default Project Settings and Project Templates arestored on the CF card internally. These sectionsremain active if a CF card is not present.
