39I25 I24 I23 I22 I21 I20 I19 I18 tr sv sl ro pt pl no nl it hu fr fi es en de da czMaintenance of batteries (only wet batteries)Please follow the instructions of use for your battery charger!Opening battery compartment for maintenanceClosing battery compartmentAfter end of maintenancePreparing to driveAttaching toolsCheck:• that the brushes are not below the red marking and that the bristle length isno less than 1 cm.• the pad for wear before using.Variant:(Option 1255) Automatic brush loweringTank position for charging.• Connect the battery disconnection socket to the external battery chargingunit (pay attention to the voltage from the mains supply socket).Caution:Follow the instructions for use for your external battery charger!• Turn on the battery charger.Caution:When maintenance of batteries takes place, they must bedisconnected from the machine!• Check that the machine has been switched off with the keyswitch.• Disconnect the battery from the machine using the battery disconnectionsocket.• Lower the squeegee.• Check that the tanks are empty.• Unlock the battery compartment, by pushing ascrew driver or a similar tool into the allowedopening.• Lift the tank until it locates into its self supportposition.Tank position before it is altered for batterymaintenance.• Lock the tank lid.• Stand behind the machine.• Carefully open the battery compartment untilthe drive handle is lying on the floor.Tank position for battery maintenance.• Stand behind the machine and lift the tank untilit rests on the tank self support.• Hold the tank and press the tank supportinwards.Now lower the tank until it locates into place.• Connect the battery to the machine with the battery disconnection socket.• Raise the squeegee.• Switch on the keyswitch.The indicators light up briefly.The battery indicator displays that the machine isready for operation(on malfunction see page 44).• Hold the handle and adjust to a height which iscomfortable to work with.By lightly pressing the speed control in thedirection of drive, the machine is set in motion.Letting the speed control go stops the machine.• Switch the machine off using the keyswitch and remove the key.Working with worn out, damaged and or wrong tools, could resultin possible damage to floors or their protective layers.• Position the tool below the brush unit.• Switch on the keyswitch.The indicators light up briefly.• Press the brush unit button.While being lowered, the brush drive begins topulse slowly. This centres and locks the tool intoplace.The display lights up.
