34 Remote control receiverWhen using the remote control system please point the F3100 handset in thedirection of the receiver.The line of sight between the F3100 and the remote control receiver in theF3100 must not be interrupted by any obstacles. Installing the F3100 behindthe glass doors of a cabinet will also adversely affect the remote controlsystem. It is essential to prevent potentially interfering light (fromfluorescent lamps and energy-saving bulbs) falling directly on the receiver,as this may markedly reduce the effective range of the remote controlsystem. DisplayThe graphic screen of the PDT 3100 HV displays all information regarding thestatus of the machine and the the music track currently being played. Thedisplay is context-sensitive and varies according to the capabilities andfacilities of the medium to which you are currently listening.The most important information is highlighted on the screen in a context-sensitive manner. Supplementary information is displayed above and belowthe main text, or by means of symbols.
