(The negative terminalis marked with a “-“ symbol and a black mark.)If the connector clamps are connected correctly,the car charger will automatically select the cor-rect battery type. You may review it in the “Bat-tery Type“ option field and if necessary changeit by pressing the battery type button 2 .Now select the “Start“ function using the ChargeStart button 3 . The cart charger will now ana-lyse the battery‘s charge level. The display willnow read “0“.Start the vehicle‘s ignition. The display will nowshow a 5 second countdown (of which 2 secondpriming / analysis function and 3 second jumpstart function at 75 A) when needing the carcharger for jump starting (previously analysedby the car charger). During this countdown thecar charger will briefly deliver 75 A to bridgethe battery to start the car. This is followed bya 180 second pause to protect the battery. Thecycle will now restart (2 second priming / anal-ysis function and 3 second jump starting at75 A / 180 second pause).To disconnect the device, first remove the termi-nal clamps ( 6 / 7 ) and unplug the powercord 9 .Note: If the battery is completely drained, the 75 Awill not be sufficient to start all engines (e.g. dieselvehicles).In this case, please select the “Fast Charge“option using the Charge Start button 3 andcharge the battery 60 % (preheating of dieselengines draws power from the battery. This re-quires 60 % after preheating).You can monitor the charging process in the displayby selecting the “Battery %“ option using the digitaldisplay button 1 .Once 60 % has been reached, jump start again.Attention: Exit the mode by unplugging themains cable 9 .Replacing the fuseThe car charger fuse can be damaged by e.g. hard-ware failure, overload, etc.Unplug the power cord 9 before replacingthe fuse.Remove the fuse 4 cover by slightly pressingin the side.Unscrew the fuse 4 with a fitting open-endspanner and secure the new fuse.Then screw it tight and replace the cover 4 .Note: If you need a new fuse, please contactour service department (see chapter Warrantyand Service Information).Maintenance and careAlways unplug the power cord 9 from the mainssocket before working on the car charger.The device is maintenance-free. Switch off thedevice.
