Battery IndicatorWhen the unit is On, battery power is always indicated on thedisplay.When the battery is fully charged, the batteryindicator appears as follows:When the battery is nearly discharged, thebattery indicator appears as follows:• When the battery indicator drops to theblinking 1-mark level on the display, theradio will receive but will not transmit.Key LockTo prevent accidental entries, you can lock the keypad.1 Press and hold the LOCK button for 2 seconds. A doubleconfirmation tone sounds. LOCK appears on the display.2 To unlock the keypad, press and hold the LOCK button again for2 seconds. A double confirmation tone sounds.
