r Three Year Limited WarrantyTHREE YEAR LIMITED WARRANTYWARRANTOR: UNIDEN AMERICA CORPORATION. (UNIDEN)ELEMENTS OF WARRANTY: Uniden warrants, for three years, to the original retailowner, this PRESIDENT by Uniden Marine Radio (hereinafter referred to as the Product) tobe free from defects in materials and craftsmanship with only the limitations or exclusionsset out below.WARRANTY DURATION: This warranty to the original user shall terminate and be of nofurther effect 36 months after the date of original retail sale. The warranty is invalid if theProduct is (A) damaged or not maintained as reasonable or necessary, (B) modified,altered, or used as part of any conversion kits, subassemblies, or any configurations notsold by PRESIDENT, (C) improperly installed, (D) repaired by someone other than anauthorized service center for a defect or malfunction covered by this warranty, (E) used inany conjunction with equipment or parts or as part of any system not manufactured byUniden for PRESIDENT, or (F) installed, programmed, or serviced by anyone other than anauthorized PRESIDENT service center.STATEMENT OF REMEDY: In the event that the product does not conform to thiswarranty at any time while this warranty is in effect, warrantor will repair the defect andreturn it to you without charge for parts, service, or any other cost incurred by warrantor orits representatives in connection with the performance of this warranty. THE THREE YEARLIMITED WARRANTY SET FORTH ABOVE IS THE SOLE AND ENTIRE WARRANTYPERTAINING TO THE PRODUCT AND IS IN LIEU OF AND EXCLUDES ALL OTHERWARRANTIES OF ANY NATURE WHATSOEVER, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED ORARISING BY OPERATION OF LAW, INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO ANY IMPLIEDWARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILlTY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE.THIS WARRANTY DOES NOT COVER OR PROVIDE FOR THE REIMBURSEMENT ORPAYMENT OF INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES. Some states do not allowthis exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages so the above limitationor exclusion may not apply to you.WARRANTY REGISTRATION CARD: In order to facilitate the servicing of this warranty bythe warrantor, the Warranty Registration Card should be returned to the warrantor.However, return of the Warranty Registration Card is not a precondition of this warranty,and this warranty will be observed by the warrantor whether or not the Warranty Registra-tion Card is returned, provided that other satisfactory evidence of the date of purchase isprovided.PROCEDURE FOR OBTAINING PERFORMANCE OF WARRANTY: In the event that theProduct does not conform to this warranty, the Product should be shipped or delivered,freight prepaid to warrantor, to:Customer ServicePRESIDENT Marine RadioUniden America Corporation9900 Westpoint Drive, P.O.
