Chapter 5 Advanced Settings41Adjusting Backlight SettingThe power consumption of the LCD backlight is high, turn off the backlight function if itis not necessary.If a backlight is required, set “automatically turn off the backlight” function.To change backlight settings:1. Tap Start → Settings → System.2. Tap Backlight.The Backlight screen appears.3. Do any of the following:– In the Battery Power tab, tap the Turnoff backlight if device is not used forcheckbox and select the amount of timebefore the unit turns off the backlightwhile running in battery power modefrom the drop-down list.– In the External Power tab, tap the Turnoff backlight if device is not used forcheckbox and select the amount of timebefore the unit turns off the backlightwhile running in external power modefrom the drop-down list.– Tap the Turn on backlight when ...checkbox to activate the backlight whena button is pressed or the screen istapped. |
