Unitech Electronics Co., Ltd Createdby YukikoPA950 OperationManualV1.0 Page 143 of 1526.3 Operation of Signal Strength Tool6.3.1 Below is the first screen of the “Signal Strength Tool”, where it can monitor thestrength of your wireless network’s signal strength.As you can see, it shows several options before starting to check for signalstrength. The first option is logging option; the default is “Disable”, where it willnot log anything but only display to screen. If you choose Enable, it will log to a filecalled “log” in the same directory of this utility. Unless required, otherwise it is notrecommended to use logging option, as leaving unattended, it may use up all thestorage space available on the machine.The second option is the time interval between refresh of status, default is toupdate every 3 seconds. You may change it to shorter or longer intervals bychoosing the second option and enter the time interval desired. When all the optionsare set, click “Start” and the program will now start to monitor the current wirelessnetwork signal strength, as is shown as below:
