Once you have becomeaccustomed to your hearing instruments, wear yourhearing instruments everyday all day.• Your hearing instruments use the most moderncomponents to provide the best possible soundquality in every listening situation. However,communication devices such as digital cell phonescan create interference (a buzzing sound) in hearinginstruments. If you experience interference from a cellphone being used close by, you can minimize thisinterference in a number of ways. Switch your hearinginstruments to another program, turn your head in adifferent direction or locate the cell phone and moveaway from it.LabelingFor most ITE hearing instruments, the year ofmanufacture is located above the serial number. The firsttwo digits indicate the year of manufacture.
