18TEMPERATURE WARNINGYou can connect a temperature sensor to this set to give a visible and audible warningautomatically when the outside temperature becomes lower than 3°C.See ‘INSTALLATION’ then ‘INITIAL SETTINGS’option ‘TEMP’.Activate / Deactivate temperature warning.Now when the outside temperature falls below 3°C you see TEMP WARNING then the currenttemperature displayed and hear 3 bleeps. If the temperature remains at this level you willhear a bleep every 5 minutes and see the current temperature until it rises sufficiently andthen you will again hear 3 bleeps and see the new temperature.A temperature sensor MUST be safely and correctly mounted.TEMPERATURE DISPLAYWith an external temperature sensor connected and the temperature format selected in‘INITIAL SETTINGS’ option TEMP; you can check the outside temperature by pressing thedisplay key as shown in ‘DISPLAY OPTIONS’.CLOCKThis set has a clock that can either be manually adjusted by you or can be automatically updatedvia the RDS signal. See ‘INITIAL SETTINGS’ option CLOCK.You can check the time by pressing the display key as shown in ‘DISPLAY OPTIONS’.The time transmitted via RDS can be wrong.DEMONSTRATION MODEIn this mode, the display shows the main features of the set. SWITCHING ON DEMO MODEWhile keeping the Display key pressed, switch on the set. Release the Display key when yousee a change in the display. The set remains in the demonstration mode, even if you switchthe set off and then on again.
