Refer to the 'VehicleApplication List' on the enclosed CDROM to determine the correct cable.If using the EOBD (J1962) pin-switchablecable (A2C59512072), ensure thesettings on the switch box correspond tothe settings listed for the vehicle andsystem being tested.WARNING: Incorrect settings on theswitch box may cause irreparabledamage to the vehicle’s electricalsystem.Connect the appropriate cable betweenthe service tool and the vehicle'sdiagnostic connector. Once connected,the current software version number isdisplayed before displaying the mainmenu.Use the and keys to select therequired menu function.
