If some of the faults mentioned in this table occur, the fault may NOT be reset.Table 7. Fault/ Warning indicating that the thermistor is active.Faultcode Fault/Warning Subcode Possible cause Correcting measures29 Thermistor 1 Thermistor input is acti-vated (> 4 kΩ) on the OPT-AF option board. The resistance of thermis-tor input must go below 2kΩ to be able to restart thedrive.Table 8. Faults related to the STO & thermistor functionFaultcode Fault Subcode Possible cause Correcting measures8 System Fault 30 STO inputs are in differentstate. This fault occurswhen the STO inputs are indifferent state more than 5seconds.-Check the S1 switch.-Check the cabling to theOPT-AF board.-Single hardware problempossible in either OPT-AFboard or NXP controlboard.8 System Fault 31 Thermistor short circuitdetected.-Correct the cabling.-Check the jumper for thethermistor short circuitsupervision, if thermistorfunction is not used, and thethermistor input is shortcircuited.8 System Fault 32 OPT-AF board has beenremoved.-It is not allowed to removethe OPT-AF board once ithas been reqognized by thesoftware. NOTE! There isonly one method to clearthis fault. By writing "OPT-AF Removed" to "1" andthen back to "0" again. Thisvariable is found from the"System Menu" "Security"(6.5.5).8 System Fault 33 OPT-AF board EEPROMerror (checksum, notanswering…).-Change the OPT-AF board.8 System Fault 34…36 OPT-AF supply voltagehardware problemdetected.-Change the OPT-AF board.
