The control controls the heatinginstallation and other connected components, e.g. the do-mestic hot water generation for a connected domestic hotwater cylinder or the ventilation of a connected ventilationunit.3.2.1 HeatingThe outdoor temperature sensor measures the outdoor tem-perature and forwards the values to the control. When theoutside temperature is low, the controller increases the flowtemperature of the heating installation. If the outdoor temper-ature increases, the control reduces the flow temperature. The control responds to the fluctuations in the outdoor tem-perature and uses the flow temperature to ensure that theroom temperature remains at the required temperature.3.2.2 CoolingThe room temperature sensor measures the room temperat-ure and sends the data to the controller. If the room temper-ature is higher than the desired temperature that is set, thecontroller switches cooling on.3.2.3 VentilationUsing a controlled exchange of air, the ventilation unit en-sures that the living rooms are ventilated and aerated. Thecontrol controls the air volume flow via the ventilation levelsthat are set.3.2.4 Hot water generationA temperature sensor measures the temperature of the wa-ter in the domestic hot water cylinder and forwards the val-ues to the control. At a low domestic hot water temperature, the control increases the temperature in the domestic hotwater circuit and thus heats the water in the domestic hotwater cylinder to the set domestic hot water temperature.3.2.5 CirculationIf a circulation pump is installed in the heating installation, the draw-off points will provide hot water more quickly. Thecirculation pump pumps hot water through the secondaryreturn pipes in the circuit and to the draw-off points.
