1 Safety6 Instructions for use aroTHERM 0020151761_001.2.7 Risk of death due to lack of safetydevicesA lack of safety devices (e.g. expansion reliefvalve, expansion vessel) can lead to poten-tially fatal scalding and other injuries, e.g. dueto explosions.▶ Have your competent person check thatall required isolator devices are present inyour heating installation.1.2.8 Preventing the risk of injury fromfreezing as a result of touchingcoolantThe heat pump is delivered with an oper-ational filling of R410A coolant. This is achlorine-free coolant which does not affectthe Earth's ozone layer. R410A is neither afire hazard nor an explosion risk. Escapingcoolant may cause freezing if the exit point istouched.▶ If coolant escapes, do not touch any com-ponents of the heat pump.▶ Do not inhale any steam or gases that es-cape from the coolant circuit as a result ofleaks.▶ Avoid skin or eye contact with the coolant.▶ In the event of skin or eye contact with thecoolant, seek medical advice.1.2.9 Danger due to changes to theproduct environmentThere is a risk of injury or death to the useror others, or of damage to the product andother property, in the event of changes to theproduct environment.Changes must not be made to the followingequipment:– The heat pump– The heat pump environment– The drain line and expansion relief valvefor the heating water– The water and electricity supply lines– The heat pump's condensate drain pipe-work
